Unauthenticated file read via path traversal
Published Apr 14, 2026 · Updated Apr 14, 2026
Path traversal in Adobe ColdFusion 2025 Update 6 and 2023 Update 18 and earlier allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files. Adobe has not disclosed the affected endpoint or the path-validation operation that fails to confine attacker-controlled paths to an intended directory. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation exposes sensitive local files without reported write or execution capability.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
