Code execution via DOC parser integer underflow
Published Apr 14, 2026 · Updated Apr 14, 2026
Integer underflow in Adobe FrameMaker 2022.8 and earlier allows attackers to execute arbitrary code through a crafted DOC file. The DOC parser performs an undisclosed arithmetic operation that wraps below the integer range and corrupts memory; Adobe has not identified the responsible function. Exploitation requires a victim to open the file, and resulting code runs with the privileges of the current user.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
