User-context arbitrary code execution
Published Mar 10, 2026 · Updated Mar 10, 2026
Out-of-bounds write in Adobe DNG SDK 1.7.1 build 2471 and earlier allows attackers to execute code when a user opens a malicious DNG file. Adobe has not disclosed the affected parser locus, the malformed DNG field, or the unchecked write operation that crosses its destination boundary. Exploitation requires a user to open the crafted file, after which code runs with the privileges of the current user.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
