Stack overflow in Illustrator 2025 29.8.4 and earlier and 2026 30.1 and earlier allows attackers to execute code via a malicious file. Adobe has not disclosed the affected parser, file format, or the operation that overwrites the stack buffer. Exploitation requires a victim on Windows to open the crafted file, after which code runs with the victim's current-user privileges.
