Application crash via out-of-bounds memory write
Published Apr 14, 2026 · Updated Apr 14, 2026
Out-of-bounds write in Adobe DNG SDK 1.7.1 build 2502 and earlier allows attackers to crash applications via a malicious DNG file. The SDK writes beyond a memory buffer while processing attacker-controlled file data, but Adobe has not identified the affected parser or operation. Exploitation requires a user to open the file in an application containing the SDK, resulting in a crash or an unresponsive application.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
