Browser script execution via stored form input
Published Mar 11, 2026 · Updated Mar 11, 2026
Stored XSS in Adobe Experience Manager 6.5.23 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in victims' browsers. A low-privileged user can save unneutralized JavaScript in vulnerable form fields, and AEM later renders that stored input when another user opens the affected page. Exploitation requires low-privileged access to submit the field and interaction from a victim, bounding the consequence to the victim's browser context.
