CVE-2026-27183Public exploit

Shell execution bypass via dispatch-wrapper depth mismatch

Published Mar 23, 2026 · Updated Mar 23, 2026

Authorization bypass in OpenClaw before 2026.3.7 allows attackers to execute shell payloads without required approval via system.run. In system.run, the approval classifier stops unwrapping at the fourth transparent dispatch wrapper while the execution planner continues to /bin/sh -c. The bypass requires security=allowlist with approval on misses and a four-wrapper chain, permitting the shell payload to run with the OpenClaw host's permissions.
