CVE-2026-2713

Local code execution via uncontrolled DLL search path

Published Mar 10, 2026 · Updated Mar 10, 2026

DLL search-path hijacking in IBM Trusteer Rapport installer 3.5.2309.290 allows local users to execute arbitrary code. The installer searches a compromised folder for a DLL and loads an attacker-controlled file without constraining the search path. Exploitation requires placing the crafted DLL in that folder before the installer runs; IBM identifies the installer, rather than an installed Rapport deployment, as the affected component.
