Contributor-level script execution via insufficient output escaping
Published Feb 19, 2026 · Updated Feb 19, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in PenciDesign Penci Recipe 4.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject browser scripts. Published sources identify insufficient input sanitization and output escaping during page generation but do not disclose the affected parameter, function, or DOM operation. Contributor-level access is required, and execution occurs when another user visits an injected page, allowing script actions in that visitor's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
