Unauthenticated station impersonation via OCPP WebSocket
Published Feb 27, 2026 · Updated Feb 27, 2026
Missing authentication in all versions of Mobility46 mobility46.se allows remote attackers to impersonate stations over OCPP WebSockets. The OCPP WebSocket endpoint accepts a known or discovered charging-station identifier without authenticating the connecting endpoint, then treats the connection as the legitimate charger. No credentials or user interaction are required; the forged station session can issue or receive OCPP commands and corrupt charging-network data reported to the backend.
