Arbitrary file read via case-sensitive scheme filter
Published Mar 30, 2026 · Updated Mar 30, 2026
SSRF in Gotenberg before 8.29.0 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files from its container through Chromium conversion. FilterDeadline compiles the default file-scheme deny-list case-sensitively, while Chromium normalizes mixed-case schemes after the check. Unauthenticated access to the URL or HTML conversion endpoint exposes readable container files, including configuration and credentials.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
