CVE-2026-27014Public exploit

Application crash via unbounded ROMFS directory recursion

Published Feb 19, 2026 · Updated Feb 19, 2026

Uncontrolled recursion in M2-Team NanaZip 5.0.1252.0 through 6.0.1621.0 allows attackers to crash the application via a crafted ROMFS image. The GetAllPaths function in NanaZip.Codecs.Archive.Romfs.cpp recursively descends attacker-controlled directory entries without enforcing a depth limit. Opening the crafted image is required, and sufficient nesting exhausts the process stack and terminates NanaZip without affecting data confidentiality or integrity.
