CVE-2026-27009

Stored XSS via inline identity script injection

Published Feb 19, 2026 · Updated Feb 19, 2026

Stored XSS in the OpenClaw Control UI before 2026.2.15 allows local users with administrative access to execute JavaScript. The gateway inserts assistantName and assistantAvatar into an inline script with JSON.stringify, which lets a closing script tag end the element. An operator or administrator must first store a crafted identity value, and a Control UI visitor must then load the page; execution can expose session tokens and enable privileged UI actions.
