Container escape via unchecked Docker sandbox configuration
Published Feb 19, 2026 · Updated Feb 19, 2026
Configuration injection in the OpenClaw Docker tool sandbox before 2026.2.15 allows attackers to escape containers via unsafe Docker options. The sandbox builder passed operator-controlled bind mounts, host networking, and unconfined seccomp or AppArmor profiles into docker create without rejecting dangerous values. Exploitation requires attacker influence over sandbox configuration or an operator to paste untrusted configuration, exposing host secrets or full host control through a mounted Docker socket.
