Unauthenticated configuration access via nonterminating redirect
Published Apr 2, 2026 · Updated Apr 2, 2026
Authentication bypass in Progress ShareFile Storage Zones Controller 5.12.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to access configuration pages. ConfigService.Admin redirects unauthenticated requests with Response.Redirect(..., false), so page processing continues and returns the restricted admin body. An exposed customer-managed 5.x controller is sufficient for configuration changes; code execution requires chaining a separate upload flaw.
