Database disclosure via unparameterized slug ordering
Published Feb 20, 2026 · Updated Feb 20, 2026
SQL injection in Ghost 3.24.0 through 6.19.0 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary database data through the Content API. The slug-filter ordering helper interpolates each caller-supplied slug directly into an ORDER BY CASE expression instead of passing it as a parameterized binding. The public-by-design Content API key permits unauthenticated reachability, exposing stored site data including Admin API keys.
