Phishing via unchecked deep-link WebView load
Published Aug 27, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026
Open redirect in EcoOnline EHS for Android 0.2.499 allows remote attackers to load arbitrary web content through a crafted deep link. The exported MainActivity rewrites any ehs-app URI to HTTPS and passes it to WebView.loadUrl without calling the app's host allow-list. Opening the link is required; attacker-controlled content then appears inside the trusted app and can present a fake login for credential theft.
