Internal data disclosure via unrestricted URL fetching
Published Mar 10, 2026 · Updated Mar 10, 2026
SSRF in pdfmake 0.3.0-beta.2 through 0.3.5 allows remote attackers to read HTTP responses through server-side PDF generation. URLResolver passes URLs from images, fonts, attachments, and files directly to fetch without validating their destinations, while attachment and file reuse can embed the raw response in the output PDF. The full-read path requires a server application to pass an attacker-controlled document definition to pdfmake; browser-side use is not affected.
