Authenticated command execution via private-key concatenation
Published Mar 12, 2026 · Updated Mar 12, 2026
Command injection in GL-iNet GL-AR300M16 firmware 4.3.11 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary system commands. The wg-server set_config handler directly concatenates the user-controlled WireGuard private_key value into a shell command without validation or sanitization. Exploitation requires a valid administrator token in the JSON-RPC request, and injected shell syntax runs commands in the router application's context.
