Authenticated file read via invoice path traversal
Published Feb 20, 2026 · Updated Feb 20, 2026
Path traversal in OpenSourcePOS 3.4.1 allows remote authenticated users to read server files through crafted invoice configuration. The Sales.php getInvoice() function concatenates the stored invoice_view value into a sales view path and passes it to view() without confining the resolved path. Configuration access and invoice creation are required; including an uploaded PHP-bearing image executes commands as the web-server account.
