Out-of-bounds writes in RTI Connext Professional services allow local users to corrupt data or crash processes via modified ODBC files. Durable Writer History, Persistence Service, and Queueing Service process attacker-modified ODBC configuration without keeping memory writes within destination buffers. Exploitation requires low-privileged local file-system access; successful triggering corrupts service data or terminates an affected process.
