Arbitrary file read via unsanitized download path
Published Feb 18, 2026 · Updated Feb 18, 2026
Path traversal in TH-AMS Electronic Archives Management System 3.2.210802(62532) allows remote authenticated users to read server files. The /Search/Subject/downLoad handler uses the attacker-controlled path parameter to select a download without sanitizing traversal sequences or confining the resolved path. Requests require a PHP session; the public proof of concept obtains one by posting attacker-chosen session variables before requesting files.
