Adjacent eavesdropping via unencrypted BLE telemetry

Cleartext transmission in the BLE handler in Mendi Neurofeedback Headset V4 allows adjacent attackers to read fNIRS sensor data. The public record indicates that the headset sends neural activity telemetry over the air in cleartext and does not enforce secure BLE pairing or application-layer encryption, while the code-level locus remains undisclosed. An attacker within Bluetooth reception range can passively sniff sessions without authentication or user interaction, and published sources describe confidentiality exposure only.
