Database disclosure via trainer search SQL injection
Published Mar 2, 2026 · Updated Mar 2, 2026
SQL injection in code-projects Simple Gym Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read database contents through trainer search. The /gym/trainer_search.php endpoint processes the POST search value without neutralizing quote and UNION syntax, allowing crafted input to alter the query and return the database name. The public artifact uses an administrator session cookie and listed default credentials, but the official assessment classifies exploitation as unauthenticated; only database-name disclosure is demonstrated.
