SQLite data disclosure via injectable category identifier
Published Mar 2, 2026 · Updated Mar 2, 2026
SQL injection in SourceCodester Pharmacy Point of Sale System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read SQLite data via a crafted id parameter. The /pharmacy/view_category.php endpoint accepts SQL syntax in id, and a UNION SELECT payload returns sqlite_version() in the response. The published request carries a PHP session cookie, although CISA scores privileges as none; public evidence does not resolve this access-control discrepancy.
