Authenticated code execution via racy archive validation
Published Feb 18, 2026 · Updated Feb 18, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in MingSoft MCMS 6.1.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute server-side code via a crafted template archive. The uploadTemplate.do handler extracts archive entries before checking and deleting prohibited files, leaving malicious JSP content temporarily web-accessible. Administrative access and successful timing of that validation gap are required; exploitation grants code execution in the MCMS server context.
