Unauthorized state changes via missing CSRF validation
Published Feb 18, 2026 · Updated Feb 18, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in newbee-ltd newbee-mall allows remote attackers to alter account data or create orders through a victim's session. The /admin/profile/name POST handler accepts new names without a CSRF token or origin check, while the /saveOrder GET handler performs a state change using only the session cookie. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator or shopper to load attacker-controlled content; impact is limited to profile-name changes or orders for items already in the shopper's cart.
