Internal service access via unrestricted executor requests
Published Feb 18, 2026 · Updated Feb 18, 2026
SSRF in smolagents 1.24.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to reach internal services through LocalPythonExecutor code. When requests is added through additional_authorized_imports, the executor sends GET and POST requests to attacker-chosen URLs without egress validation. Reachability requires an application to execute attacker-influenced agent code with requests authorized; responses can expose internal data or cloud credentials.
