Stored XSS via unsanitized template content
Published Jul 20, 2026 · Updated Jul 20, 2026
Stored XSS in Mettle SendPortal 3.0.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript when a user opens an affected template. The /templates endpoint stores the unsanitized content parameter, and the template view later renders that attacker-controlled value in a user's browser. Exploitation requires a user to access the affected template and exposes that browser session to attacker-controlled script execution.
