Null pointer dereference in ccoap 77f55c4b466e99327c24ace8a2913d3ba7e2ccd5 allows attackers to crash an application via a zero-length CoAP option. The coap_dump_msg() function processes the empty option and dereferences a null pointer instead of rejecting or safely handling the invalid value. Exploitation requires an application to invoke this diagnostic function on an attacker-influenced CoAP message, and the demonstrated consequence is a crash of that process.
