CVE-2026-26422Public exploit

Local privilege escalation via world-writable IPC socket

Published Jun 6, 2026 · Updated Jun 6, 2026

Local privilege escalation in Clash Verge Rev clash-verge-service-ipc before 2.3.0 allows local users to execute code as root. CoreManager's Unix after_start logic changes the Mihomo IPC socket to mode 0777, while StartClash accepts an attacker-controlled core_path and executes it with service privileges. Any unprivileged local account that can reach the socket and supply the published static IPC token can run an arbitrary executable as root or with CAP_NET_ADMIN.
