Local privilege escalation in iBoysoft NTFS for Mac 8.0.0 allows local users to execute privileged operations through ntfshelperd. The root-running daemon exposes an NSConnection service that accepts client requests without authentication or authorization checks. A low-privileged macOS account can reach the local helper without user interaction and gain root-level control over the host.
