Administrative access via persistent default credentials
Published Feb 24, 2026 · Updated Feb 24, 2026
Default credentials in Tattile camera firmware 1.181.5 and earlier allow remote attackers to gain administrative access. The management interface accepts the shipped superuser credential because commissioning leaves it active and imposes no mandatory password change. Network reachability to the interface is the only gate; successful login grants administrative access to device configuration and stored data.
