CVE-2026-26332Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Host code execution via unsanitized SuppressedError values

Published May 4, 2026 · Updated May 4, 2026

Code injection in Patrik Simek vm2 before 3.11.0 allows remote attackers to escape the sandbox and execute arbitrary host code. The exception bridge returns SuppressedError.error and .suppressed values to sandbox code without recursively converting their host-realm objects. Exploitation requires an application to run attacker-controlled JavaScript in vm2; the leaked host Function constructor exposes the Node.js process and permits commands with the host application's privileges.
