Administrator account creation via unauthenticated token overwrite
Published Mar 11, 2026 · Updated Mar 11, 2026
Privilege escalation in Datalogics Ecommerce Delivery before 2.6.60 allows remote attackers to create WordPress Administrator accounts. An unauthenticated /datalogics-0/v1/update-token REST request overwrites datalogics_token, which then authenticates /update-settings and passes attacker-supplied settings to WordPress update_option(). No account is initially required; changing users_can_register and default_role enables registration of a new Administrator account.
