CVE-2026-26288Network attack vector

Unauthenticated station impersonation via unchecked WebSocket identity

Published Mar 6, 2026 · Updated Mar 6, 2026

Authentication bypass in all versions of Everon OCPP Backends allows remote attackers to impersonate chargers over OCPP WebSockets. The backend accepts a known or discovered charging-station identifier as sufficient identity and establishes the session without authenticating the connecting endpoint. Network access and a station identifier are sufficient to issue or receive OCPP commands, manipulate reported charging data, and control charging infrastructure.
