CVE-2026-26286Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Internal service response disclosure via unvalidated asset URL

Published Feb 19, 2026 · Updated Feb 19, 2026

SSRF in the asset download endpoint in SillyTavern before 1.16.0 allows remote authenticated users to read internal HTTP responses. The /api/assets/download handler in src/endpoints/assets.js passes request.body.url directly to fetch without validating its destination and returns the full body when the category is character. A valid session and CSRF token are required, after which private services and cloud metadata reachable by the server can be read.
