CVE-2026-26273Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Account takeover via exposed password reset token

Published Feb 13, 2026 · Updated Feb 13, 2026

Broken authentication in Known 1.6.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to take over any account through the password reset endpoint. Reset.php getContent() and postContent() replace the submitted code with the stored recovery code, exposing it in HTML and bypassing validation. Only an email address and network access are required; the disclosed token permits password replacement and login without inbox access.
