Cross-site scripting via unsandboxed private-area iframes
Published Feb 19, 2026 · Updated Feb 19, 2026
Cross-site scripting in SPIP 4.4.0 through 4.4.7 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through private-area iframe content. Private-area rendering passes malicious iframe elements without escaping them or adding a sandbox attribute, so embedded scripts run in a viewer's browser. An attacker needs content access and a user to view the affected back-office page; exposure is limited to browser-context data and actions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
