CVE-2026-26214Public exploit

Traffic interception via disabled TLS hostname verification

Published Feb 12, 2026 · Updated Feb 12, 2026

Improper TLS hostname validation in Galaxy FDS Android SDK 3.0.8 and earlier allows man-in-the-middle attackers to read or alter FDS traffic. GalaxyFDSClientImpl.createHttpClient() assigns SSLSocketFactory.ALLOW_ALL_HOSTNAME_VERIFIER, accepting valid certificates for unrelated hosts. An on-path network position against an application using default-enabled HTTPS is sufficient to expose credentials, file contents, and API responses to interception or modification.
