GitLab EE's vulnerability flags AI detection API allows remote authenticated users with auditor privileges to alter private-project flag data. GitLab has not disclosed which authorization check accepts auditor-level state-changing requests or the other circumstances required to reach the operation. The flaw affects Enterprise Edition 18.6 before 18.8.9, 18.9 before 18.9.5, and 18.10 before 18.10.3; its reported consequence is limited to integrity of vulnerability flag data.
