Stored XSS via unsanitized control-panel metadata
Published Feb 12, 2026 · Updated Feb 12, 2026
Stored XSS in Solspace Freeform for Craft 5.0.0 through 5.14.6 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in a CP user's browser. The React control-panel builder and integrations views pass saved form labels, section labels, and integration metadata to raw HTML rendering without sufficient sanitization. The attacker needs Craft control-panel permission to edit Freeform forms or integrations, and execution occurs when another control-panel user opens an affected view, enabling actions or data access within that victim's session.
