Server-side request forgery in Microsoft Purview eDiscovery allows remote attackers to disclose sensitive data through the hosted service. Microsoft has not disclosed the vulnerable request-handling locus or how attacker-controlled input causes the service to issue a server-side request. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the CNA assessment limits impact to confidentiality loss without integrity or availability loss.
