Administrator command execution via unsanitized TeX setting

OS command injection in Moodle LMS before 4.5.9, 5.0.0 through 5.0.4, and 5.1.0 through 5.1.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands. The TeX filter administration setting passes insufficiently sanitized configuration input to an external utility such as ImageMagick, allowing shell metacharacters to alter the operating-system command. Exploitation requires a site administrator, the TeX notation filter to be enabled, and ImageMagick installed; injected commands run on the Moodle server.
