Internal resource access via incomplete URL validation
Published Feb 11, 2026 · Updated Feb 11, 2026
SSRF in RecursiveUrlLoader in LangChain Community before 1.1.14 allows context-dependent attackers to access internal resources. The loader uses String.startsWith() for same-site checks and accepts private, reserved, localhost, and cloud metadata destinations without validation. Exploitation requires control over content that the crawler processes; successful requests can expose responses from reachable internal services.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
