Cross-organization event disclosure via unscoped group lookup
Published Mar 17, 2026 · Updated Mar 17, 2026
IDOR in Sentry before 26.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read complete event data from other organizations. GroupEventJsonView passes a user-controlled group ID to get_group_with_redirect without the active organization, so resource ownership is not enforced. An account with event:read in any organization and a target group ID can disclose the target event JSON, but cannot alter it through this flaw.
