CVE-2026-25990Public exploit

Memory corruption via unchecked negative PSD tile offsets

Published Feb 11, 2026 · Updated Feb 11, 2026

Out-of-bounds write in Pillow 10.3.0 through 12.1.0 allows attackers to corrupt process memory by opening a crafted PSD image. The decoder's _setimage routine accepts negative x or y tile offsets and establishes bounds that permit writes before the intended image buffer. The crafted file must reach a Pillow consumer that decodes PSD data; the write can crash the process or corrupt its memory.
