System takeover via nested traversal file upload
Published Feb 9, 2026 · Updated Feb 9, 2026
Path traversal in FUXA before 1.2.11 allows remote authenticated administrators to write files outside restricted directories. The upload handler removes traversal tokens only once, so nested ....// input becomes ../ after sanitization and reaches runtime/scripts. Administrative access is required; a malicious script written there executes when the server reloads it, converting application control into host code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
