Telemetry interruption via unlimited WebSocket authentication attempts
Published Feb 26, 2026 · Updated Feb 26, 2026
Rate-limit failure in all versions of Ev2Go ev2go.io allows remote attackers to interrupt charger telemetry via WebSocket requests. The WebSocket API accepts an unrestricted number of authentication requests, enabling request floods or repeated credential guesses. No account or user interaction is required; abuse can suppress or misroute legitimate telemetry, while successful brute forcing grants unauthorized access.
