CVE-2026-25933

Command execution via unsanitized device metadata

Published Feb 12, 2026 · Updated Feb 12, 2026

OS command injection in Arduino App Lab before 0.4.0 allows physically proximate attackers to execute commands through a tampered board. The Terminal device-information handler processes unvalidated _info.Serial and _info.Address values containing shell metacharacters as host commands. A previously tampered board must be connected, and injected commands run with the privileges of the user running App Lab.
